ABOUT THE WEEKEND

Home ›› About

  • Sing great choral repertoire in the magnificent surroundings of Salle Church, developing your singing and musicianship before coming together for a public concert on Sunday afternoon.

  • Enjoy locally sourced lunches and refreshments, followed by a Saturday evening of drinks, supper from Norfolk’s Edge and an exclusive recital by the Broadside Artists.

  • Rehearse alongside our professionals, with expert direction, sectionals and coaching throughout the weekend.

  • Our Broadside Activities offer opportunities to step away from the rehearsal room, relax, connect with fellow singers and enjoy the Norfolk countryside.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The Choral Weekend is for adults who love singing and want to enjoy making music in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

You might be:

  • A regular choir or choral society singer

  • Someone who sang at school or university and would love to rediscover choral singing

  • Returning to singing after some time away

  • Looking for an inspiring musical weekend away with like-minded people

We welcome singers from across the UK and beyond. If you’re travelling to Norfolk to join us, our ‘plan your stay’ guide has practical information on travel, accommodation and the local area.

Some choral experience is helpful, and we ask singers to be able to read music or be willing to prepare the music in advance.
