HARRY CASTLE

Artistic Director

Harry’s love of choral music began as a chorister at St Peter's Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton. He went on to study Music at Durham University, where he sang in the cathedral choir and conducted both the University Chamber Choir and Symphony Orchestra. After graduating, he moved to Norfolk, where he served as conductor of the Sheringham & Cromer Choral Society and the Iceni Choir. He later moved to London to pursue his teaching career, whilst conducting Fulham Camerata and the Sovereign Singers.

Alongside his extensive experience as a conductor, Harry has held teaching positions at leading schools in London and is currently Director of Music at Ibstock Place School. He is passionate about making high-quality music accessible, inspiring, and enjoyable for everyone.

As Artistic Director of Broadside Music, Harry brings together his experience in ensemble leadership and music education to build a vibrant musical community. Through events and shared musical experiences, he creates opportunities for musicians and audiences to deepen their understanding of music and foster meaningful, long-lasting connections.
