Prior to moving to Winchester, he worked in the music departments at Clifton College, where he was Assistant Director of Music and Head of Choral Music, and St Paul’s School. At Cambridge, he played under Dr Edward Wickham for both the College Choir and St Catharine’s College Girls’ Choir - the first of its kind in Oxbridge - accompanying their weekly services as well as tours across Europe and the Far East. He also accompanied the choirs on three commercial recordings and broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4.

During his third year at Cambridge, Will was accompanist to the Cambridge University Music Society Chorus, working with Sir Stephen Cleobury and Mark Austin in preparation for performances of major choral works and accompanying the choir on tour to Rome. He continues to work regularly as an accompanist on the Rodolfus Choral Courses and has also worked on courses in Shanghai.

As a freelance organist, Will has performed at venues including St Paul’s Cathedral, St Margaret’s Westminster and Chelsea Old Church. During his time at Truro Cathedral, he gained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists (FRCO), receiving the Harding/Durrant and Turpin/Durrant prizes, as well as the Samuel Baker Prize for the highest aggregate mark.

Will is also Artistic Director of Coro Spezzato, a vocal ensemble of young professionals founded during the lockdowns to provide a professional platform for some of the country’s brightest young singers and composers.
