Supporting the next generation of exceptional choral singers.
The Broadside Young Artists Programme is an annual, fully funded development programme for four outstanding singers in Years 11–13: one soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
Selected through an application and audition process, our Young Artists receive a year of opportunities built around three core pillars:
Performance · Mentorship · Leadership
Throughout their year, each Young Artist will:
Present a solo recital as part of the Broadside concert programme
Perform together in a dedicated Young Artists concert, exploring solo, duet, trio and quartet repertoire
Be partnered with a Broadside Artist for individual mentoring, musical guidance and professional insight
Receive tailored support with choral scholarship applications, auditions, repertoire and future musical opportunities
Attend the Broadside Summer School fully funded, taking on the role of section leader within the choir
Develop their musical leadership, with opportunities to lead rehearsals and sectionals under the guidance of experienced musicians
Observe professional rehearsals and gain first-hand experience of selected Broadside projects
Become part of the wider Broadside musical community
Four singers. One fully funded year. Performance. Mentorship. Leadership.
